I completely agree with what you say because when I think about it, its nothing less than the absolute truth. Someone who has options in life have less tolerance. Everyone, not just women look for options to make their lives easier. My parents have been divorced for 20 years. I grew up with my Mother, Brother, and two Sisters. After my parents were divorced, my Mother started dating this guy she use to date in high school. They dated for about 16 years and no one understood why he didn't want to marry her. It all made sense when I read Chapter 3 when you were talking about the pendulum theory. Everything swings back. Men are now realizing that the marriage laws are not fair to them, so why bother getting married just to give someone else security? Turns out, both men and women are selfish. We now don't want to get married because of the laws, and women want to get married because of them. This book makes completely sense. I own a software company that develops software for mobile phone. I've always hired people the same way you mentioned in the book. You hire someone that has little or no options. Hiring someone with options only causes you problems because they might develop an option where they don't need to show up for work. I hope we can develop a good friend relationship.
